Won a free camping break

All of us have our fav camping sites, for us and after visiting for decades the top of the list used to be Shell Island, very happy memories. Alas in recent years it has become know as its got dirty in high session, very loud, and VERY expensive. We have for the first time in some 30+ years decided to give this place a miss, it needs a rest and time to recover. The last Bank Holiday they still had 25% un booked, which would have been unheard of!

A couple of years back we discovered Frorest Fields in mid Wales, well heading down south, and this from that very first visit, has now become our number one site anywhere in the UK.

Clean and spotless, in such a lovely part of Wales. The site owners are nothing more than legends with what they have done to the camp site, and the calm and laid back approach to everything.

Anyway, they did a photo competition last year, so I sent in a few photos, and one of our was the winning snap shot!

So we are claiming our prize in a couple of weeks, and really looking forward to getting back. Attached is that shot that the site have now used.

Just putting this on in case anyone is interested,over the years i been going to this rally quite often and i do rate it very highly.The all inclusive price of £35 covers 2 adults and their children. Camping is from 2pm on Friday 5th July
to Monday 12 noon on 8th July. For single campers,  a special rate of £30 for the
weekend,well now i dont think anyone can beat that.Dont know will i manage it this year or not i hope i can as its such a great weekend.  http://www.elvaston.co.uk
